Responsibilities

  • Candidates must be qualified to perform in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Must be capable of handling multiple tasks while adhering to tight schedules.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Work directly with suppliers, place and track PO process, facilitating expediting orders as required and follow up on ship status
  • Responsibilities include evaluating and maintaining inventory levels, manage to buy in process with the sales team, and receive in goods in SAP.
  • Experience in SAP preferable.
  • Periodically review purchasing requirements and place orders consistent with demand. Adjust the purchasing plan based on planning and forecasting inputs.
  • Resolve problems, reconcile vendor returns.
  • Lead RFQ & RFP (Request for Quote and Request for Proposal) activities and supplier selection based on agreed criteria.
  • Weekly inventory report to the Sales team and guide them to use available stock and overseeing available stock ship out.
  • Understanding of working with 3PL, Third-party facilities.
  • Collaborate with sourcing manager to develop & implement sourcing changes and negotiate supply contracts.
  • Responsible for ensuring the supply of material order and replenishment.

Requirements

  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and a team player.
  • Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in a related field within a manufacturing environment.
  • Must be well organized and able to work independently.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects on a global basis.
  • College degree, in conjunction with previous experience in the buying industry.
  • Must have excellent computer skills- Word, Outlook, Excel, ERP knowledge, and Smartsheet.
  • Proficient in SAP System and comfort level in resolving A/P issues with diplomacy and accuracy.
