We are looking for a temp Social Media Content Writer to join our team and assist with creating an engaging social media presence to promote our products through captions and more. The candidate will collaborate closely with the Social Media team to create content across all social media channels and ensure we maintain a strong online voice and brand consistent with our marketing goals. The candidate must have strong content writing skills, attention to detail, and outstanding organizational skills.


  • Collaborate closely with social media team.
  • Write and edit engaging content for various social networks, including Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
  • Create social media captions based on target audience’s behaviors (language, tone, message) to promote our products/services
  • Keep up to date with latest product development and launch dates and plan ahead for future projects accordingly.
  • Have a working knowledge of ongoing company-wide sales and how to present them clearly and concisely to platform audience.
  • Understand the significance and be able to operate hashtags on various platforms.
  • Track and report on social media hashtag insights
  • Ability to incorporate current popular trends or lingo into written content while maintaining brand standards.
  • Maintain active and up-to-date knowledge of all company products across all brands.
  • Stay informed with industry-wide practices and trends
  • Act as secondary product knowledge resource amongst team and department.
  • Attend marketing meetings to brainstorm ideas and concepts for future projects.
  • Follow deadlines to ensure timely posts.
  • Create style guides or suggesting changes to ensure content is consistent and clear
  • Proofread and edit content before posting
  • Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone)
  • Optimize copy based on audience’s reaction


  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of grammar rules.
  • Hands on experience using various social media platforms
  • Proven experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or similar role.
  • Flexibility to seamlessly alter tone based on the demands of the platform.
  • Ability to operate with discretion when dealing with confidential information.
  • Self-starter; ability to be proactive and take initiative.
  • Able to operate with accuracy and attention to details.
  • Has a “whatever it takes” attitude.
  • A track record of performance meeting targets and objectives.
  • Self-directed, goal-oriented and flexible, enjoying working in a fast-paced and at times challenging environment.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and with a wide range of employees with different skill sets.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal).
