  • Shape and execute an overall YouTube channel video content strategy for the company
  • Lead the development of a YouTube content calendar and regular publishing schedule
  • Partner with video teams to plan and optimize schedules across YouTube channel
  • Utilize a YouTube SEO strategy
  • Perform extensive research and analysis on consumer thoughts and trends
  • Join and guide regular editorial discussion of video strategy, recommendations, programming, and workflow
  • Inform and advise on the overall company video strategy by analyzing YouTube analytics
  • Ensure plans and programs adhere to overall strategy and objectives
  • Collaborate with various teams on implementing video strategy
  • Identify creative opportunities to create social-forward content that will excite and engage audience


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field
  • 3+ years of social media strategist experience, ideally YouTube strategy
  • Strong working knowledge of YouTube optimization best practices and analytics
  • Strong understanding of the best practices for utilizing YouTube SEO
  • Understanding of digital video and how audiences watch and engage with it across many platforms
  • Familiarity with YouTube features including stories, live streaming, long-form video
  • Recommended knowledge of YouTube SEO tools like TubeBuddy and VidIQ
  • Passion for Bang Energy’s brand and product line
  • Knowledge of marketing principles and social media strategy
  • Creative thinking to constantly come up with engaging ideas
  • Ability to master the brand voice, specific to each piece
  • Ability to quickly make decisions under pressure and determine best responses to posts
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and brands at once and collaborate effectively to bring ideas to life
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Dropbox
  • Adaptable and quick to learn new processes and tools and a “whatever it takes” attitude
  • Track record of performance meeting targets and objectives
  • Self-directed, goal-oriented and flexible, enjoying working in a fast-paced and at times challenging environment
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and with a wide range of employees with different skill sets
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Outgoing, personable, and a “team-player.”
